We’re in Idaho.

There are a handful of first-come first-serve National Forest campgrounds in the area. With the holiday weekend approaching we were a little anxious about finding a spot to camp.

The first spot was full, the second spot was not appealing, the third spot was just right.

We were able to secure a secluded spot along the river with expansive views of the night sky. We’ll stay here until after the Labor Day weekend.
