Sand & Surf

Nehalem Bay State Beach  sits on a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and the Nehalem River.

The weather the following morning was nice. We decided to hike to the southern end of the peninsula, about a 5 1/2  mile round trip journey. It started to rain just before we returned to camp and it did not stop until the morning we left.

The Pacific Northwest is living up to its reputation.

Movin’ on,
Mike
