On The Bluff
Wind, rain and sun, we’re getting equal amounts of each and enjoying it all. We are camped on the bluff and have a view of the beach from our campsite. Temps are in the low 70’s and overall pleasant.
There are dozens of pelicans in the area that are fond of riding the thermals that rise just above the bluffs. We are getting lots of close up views of these huge majestic birds. They glide back and forth all day long barely flapping their wings.
Ground squirrels with young are in abundance in the campground. They are curious little creatures that are investigating anything and everything that the campers have left out within their reach. They are also quite chubby, so I imagine that thanks to the campers they are unintentionally being quite well fed.
