Popular with kite boarders Flores Lake sits right on the beach. It is separated from the high tide mark by small sand dunes and several yards of beach.  The campground is flat and grassy and offers little privacy. Our stop here was motivated by the fact it has a laundry room as well as  facilities to enable us to fill and empty our tanks. We were rewarded with a few bundles of  “free” firewood that our neighbors were unable to take when they checked out. Score!
